πŸ“ Eligibility for Admission

Admission to the B.Ed. Degree Programme is open to both men and women who satisfy the educational qualifications and eligibility norms as stipulated by the Government of Tamil Nadu and the Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU), Chennai.
Basic Eligibility Criteria:
  • Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's Degree (UG) in the 10+2+3 or 11+1+3 pattern from a recognized university.
  • Candidates from various academic backgrounds such as Arts, Science, Commerce, or Computer Science can apply for their respective B.Ed. subject specializations.

A student who is absent continuously for 10 days or more will receive a show-cause notice and may face cancellation if not responded to promptly.

  • UG Consolidated/Semester-wise Mark Sheets
  • UG Provisional or Convocation Certificate
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)

  • (If applicable) PG Provisional/Convocation Certificate and Mark Sheets
  • Aadhar Card (Photocopy)
  • Four recent passport-size photographs (name written on the back)
  • Duly filled-in Offline Application Form available at the college office

Selection Criteria

Admission is based on academic merit and community category as per government quota or management quota norms.

Preference may be given to candidates from rural and underprivileged backgrounds.
